The Lodge at Kicking Horse Kabins

This beautiful lodge was built from logs from the Blaeberry Valley and is suitable for couples as well as groups of four, six or eight people.

With fantastic views of the surrounding mountain ranges, at the foot of Goat Mountain just minutes from the Blaeberry River and the Blaeberry back country areas, as well as being just a short drive to the town of Golden and the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kicking Horse Kabins really is the perfect location for your great escape.

The lodge itself is lavishly decorated, with the thought of your comfort uppermost in our minds. We really do ‘think we have thought of everything', for your stay, from the simple addition of boot warmers to prepare your hiking or ski boots, through to the fantastic hot tub with stunning views of Goat Mountain.

No matter your group size you have full, and exclusive access to both bathrooms, the fully kitted kitchen with dishwasher, lounge with its loaded HD Satellite TV package and DVD player, set around the propane fireplace, dining area, as well as outside on the deck, the hot tub, BBQ and fire pit.

“The Lodge” dining area has a large table that enables you to enjoy ‘times around the table’. The fully fitted and equipped kitchen is absolutely perfect for even the most discerning of cooks, and along with a full size dishwasher, a self-catering getaway is made as labour-free as possible.

In the spacious lounge area, here you will find a large HDTV with a fully loaded HD satellite package, so you need not miss on those sporting events, films or TV series during your travels, or for those cosy evenings around the fire watching a film, enjoying a snug evening in.

Outside, on the private deck there is a large and luxurious hot tub where you can soak away after the days’ activities, whilst taking in the peace and quiet of the Blaeberry and its breathtaking mountain views. Also on the deck there is a large propane BBQ and in your garden there is a fire pit, so you can spend your evenings enjoying the stars.

We have tried to finish and equip The Lodge with everything you may want for the perfect mountain getaway – and along with our varied food and pizza options, we can even provide or come in and cook some of your meals for you!

Your reservation ensures exclusive use of the beautifully prepared lodge, with the option of a total self catering vacation or you can arrange for a fantastic dining experience, by our trained and experienced chef. All you have to do is make the choice!

The Lodge for smaller groups

At various times through the year, The Lodge at Kicking Horse Kabins is available to rent exclusively as a one or two bedroom use, so if you are just two or four people, it is perfect getaway for smaller groups wanting peace and quiet, with the added luxuries and amenities of a larger property.

If there are just two of you, you can rent The Lodge as a one bedroom use, or if you are four, a two bedroom option is available for you. “The Lodge” is exclusively yours, you share it with no one!

We accept advance reservations for couples under our one bedroom option, during the spring and fall seasons only, however at times during peak season couples can still possibly make use of our fantastic Lodge, if there is last minute availability.
