“We found KHK through TripAdvisor when researching our trip from Vancouver to Calgary. We were looking for a place our daughter, son-in-law and dog could meet us for a bit of R&R - it had to be within a few hours of Calgary where they live and work.
Karen (the owner) was very responsive when I contacted her and from then on, the process was straightforward.
The Kabin is lovely! Such a beautiful area and perfect for a family reunion. We made good use of the hot tub and there was plenty of space for us to relax. Karen was on hand to advise us on places to visit but left us to do our own thing. We would certainly consider booking again should we be in the area.”

“This cabin is right next to the wolf sanctuary so you’ll get to listen to wolves howling in the evening, something I won’t soon forget.
It’s a private Lodge with three bedrooms, a gorgeous main floor with living room, large kitchen table, and kitchen. There’s a deck out back with hot tub and bbq. There’s also a fire pit.
Great privacy in a quiet rural setting.
Great for groups as you can easily fit two families in this cabin with a pull out sofa on the main floor.
We got breakfast ingredients brought to us each morning and the food was amazing! We had farm fresh eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, fresh baking, and condiments to go with everything.
We also got a freshly baked dessert brought over one night as well from the owner.
Definitely get meals included with your stay!”

“We came across Kicking Horse Kabins in 2016 and stayed 1 night and it was superb. Never thought I would be back, but 2 years later we accommodated it in our road trip for 2 nights. “It is in an excellent location, very well equipped to suit all our needs and topped off with the added luxury of the hot tub (loved by all). If anyone gets the chance to stay here grab it, it is fabulous.”
